Structural Engineering inspired by nature

PHG Consulting was founded by Pierre Grigorian in 2013 and has grown organically since its inception by developing a reputation for excellence. We primarily operate from our head office in Cardiff and our West Wales satellite office in New Quay, Ceredigion.

Unlike many firms PHG Consulting seldom advertise, or aggressively market ourselves, preferring to allow our work and reputation to speak for us. Over 85% of our work is repeat business and we like it that way. We get to know our Clients well, and they get to know us well.

We love our environment and our community and regularly assist many local good causes and charities. We're passionate about all Engineering, Architecture, Sculpture and the Arts; and promote creativity wherever we can. We regularly give up our time assisting local schools in promoting Engineering of all types.

Managing Director
Pierre is a highly regarded and respected Structural Engineer having worked at Director level in two large practices. He is a member of the Institution of Structural Engineers and is on the Wales Committee. He is also a Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers.
Dave Tookey
Dave Tookey
Associate Director
Dave Tookey has a wealth of experience in all aspects of structural detailing. He is experienced in steelwork, reinforcement, as well as other structural materials; plus he is proficient in AutoCad and Revit. As such Dave undertakes 3D modelling of projects to give a better understanding.

Wing has established an excellent reputation as a Structural Engineer in his own right working on various high profile projects in Wales and the South West over the past few years. He has that rare knack of being able to take complicated problems and solve them with simple and logical solutions.

Azam is a senior and experienced Chartered Structural Engineer. He has a wealth of design experience that ranges from complicated refurbishments of historic structures to modern high rise developments. His analytical skills, commitment and professionalism are second to none.
Nicola Browning
Nicola Browning
Accounts Manager
Nicky has an Accountancy degree from Cardiff University Business School and is also a qualified primary school teacher. She is therefore perfectly placed to not only look after the financial side of things but also makes sure everyone in the office behaves.
Stephen Davis
Stephen Davis
Director
Steve has joined the practice to lead and expand our Civil Engineering capability. Steve is well known and well respected in his field and has considerable experience in Engineering site layouts from a Civil and Infrastructure viewpoint. He also has a voluntary role with Hafod Housing Association as a board member.
Tina Llewellyn
Associate Director
Tina is a telented and experienced Civil Engineer and has vast experience in the field. Having worked previously with several large housebuilders she has excellent residential layout experience and is experienced with the latest 3D civil engineering software packages.
Sian Davis
Office Manager
Sian mixes her office management role with being a part time music teacher. She is therefore able to offer unique perspectives and organisation in office management as well as artistic flair.
